Well here we are again...another great holiday season. A time to be grateful for what you have had over the past 11 months and also what you are grateful to look forward to in the coming year!
Often times, we do not realize what the true meaning of this holiday season is for because we are too engulfed in our own selfish wants and needs ( Believe me I am not counting myself out of this one, I too am guilty of it at times).
We tend to forget that this season is for GIVING!!
We tend to forget that there are people out there in need and even though we have more than enough, we do not want to share what we have with the less fortunate.
Now granted, there are people out in the world that are professional "scammers" that will try to take you for everything you got and some that do not need the help we provide, which in turn, causes us to not want to lend a helping hand, but we also have to think that we are not to be the one to judge others. Even though there are those rotten apples out there, they do not all spoil the bunch.
If someone is extending their hand for help, let us come together and help because this one particular time, they may have been swallowing their pride to ask for this help due to them being afraid to ask before.
Put yourself in their shoes. If you have never been in their predicament before, ask yourself, "Would I be brave enough to ask for help if this was me?"
